దేశంలో గ్రామీణ గృహ‌ నిర్మాణాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ఒక కొత్త పథకానికి ఆమోదం తెలిపిన మంత్రివర్గం

దేశంలో గ్రామీణ గృహ‌ నిర్మాణాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ఒక కొత్త పథకానికి కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గం ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ న‌రేంద్ర మోదీ కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గ సమావేశానికి అధ్యక్షత వహించారు. ఈ పథకంలో భాగంగా ప్రభుత్వం వడ్డీ సబ్సిడీని సమకూర్చనుంది. ప్రధాన మంత్రి ఆవాస్ యోజన [గ్రామీణ్.. పిఎంఎవై (జి)] పరిధికి వెలుపల ఉన్న ప్రతి ఒక్క గ్రామీణ కుటుంబానికి వడ్డీ సబ్సిడీ లభించనుంది.

ఈ పథకం గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలలోని ప్రజలకు నూతన గృహాలను నిర్మించుకోవడానికి గాని, లేదా ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న వారి పక్కా ఇళ్లకు మరింతగా మెరుగులు దిద్దుకోవడానికి గాని వీలు కల్పిస్తుంది. ఈ పథకంలో భాగంగా రుణం స్వీకరించే లబ్ధిదారుకు రూ.2 లక్షల వరకు రుణ రాశికి వడ్డీ సబ్సిడీని సమకూర్చడం జరుగుతుంది.

ఈ పథకాన్ని నేషనల్ హౌసింగ్ బ్యాంక్ అమలుపరుస్తుంది. వడ్డీ సబ్సిడీలో 3 శాతం నెట్ ప్రెజెంట్ వేల్యూ ను ప్రభుత్వం నేషనల్ హౌసింగ్ బ్యాంకుకు అందజేస్తే, నేషనల్ హౌసింగ్ బ్యాంక్ దానిని తన వంతుగా ప్రధాన రుణ సంస్థలకు (షెడ్యూల్డు వాణిజ్య బ్యాంకులు, ఎన్ బిఎఫ్ సిలు వంటి వాటికి) మళ్లిస్తుంది. ఫలితంగా లబ్ధిదారుకు నెలవారీ సమాన వాయిదా (ఇఎమ్ఐ) తగ్గుతుంది.

ఈ పథకంలో భాగంగా, పిఎమ్ఎవై-జి తో యుక్తమైన కలయికకు అవసరమైన చర్యలను కూడా ప్రభుత్వం చేపడుతుంది. ఈ చర్యలలో ఇప్పుడున్న ఏర్పాట్ల ద్వారానే లబ్ధిదారుకు సాంకేతిక మద్దతును అందించడం కూడా చేరి ఉంటుంది. ఈ కొత్త పథకం గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలలో గృహ‌ నిర్మాణ‌ కార్యకలాపాలు అధికం అయ్యేందుకు తోడ్పడడంతో పాటు, గ్రామీణ గృహ‌ నిర్మాణ‌ రంగంలో ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను సృష్టించగలుగుతుందని ఆశిస్తున్నారు.
